The Answers: Yes, and Yes

2 Questions: The answer to both is "Yes"

Before we get to the other newsletter items (see a helpful guide on "How to Staff a Test Team" below), we wanted to answer two questions we've received multiple times recently:

I can take the ISTQB exam at home? Really? Yes, you can take the ISTQB exam at home now through early 2021. We're not sure if the "at home" option will be available after then, so you should register for your exam soon.
Can I live outside the U.S. and take the exam through ASTQB & AT*SQA? Yes, you can take it from any country in the world. When you take your ISTQB exam from ASTQB or AT*SQA, we'll add you to both the Official U.S. List of Certified Software Testers™ and the ISTQB Successful Candidate Register when you pass, no matter where you live. Only ASTQB and AT*SQA can add you to both lists.

Where would you like to live in the United States?

We checked U.S. job postings that requested ISTQB Certification to see where they were located.

The answer? Pretty much everywhere!

Bottom line: Being on the Official U.S. List of Certified Software Testers gives you lots of options of where you could live in the U.S.
